I am pleased to announce that the results of yesterdays referendum for Scottish independence has resulted in an overwhelming number of Scots choosing to remain within the United Kingdom. However, this is a loud wake up call to England. England must allow more autonomy to Scotland. Regulations written for London don't necessarily apply well to Highland Scotland.
It is my hope that both England and Scotland find ways to allow each other sufficient autonomy to allow the governance that suits both places, both in terms of equity and in terms of finance.
