I would like to see a rational approach with regard to long guns in Canada. Without a freer approach to long guns, Canadians who live in rural areas will be unable to defend themselves against growing numbers of more aggressive wolves and potentially other rabid animals.

Canada to Scrap Long Gun Registry
I would like to see a rational approach with regard to long guns in Canada. Without a freer approach to long guns, Canadians who live in rural areas will be unable to defend themselves against growing numbers of more aggressive wolves and potentially other rabid animals.
It is right that there should be a proper registration of the long guns or other guns. Registration is only the first step and it has no impact on sale of long guns by the people. It is very useful for the government in the future.

MA firearms license.
And yet, Canada dropped its long gun registry requirement on April 6, 2012. The program cost taxpayers 66.4 million dollars annually and did not identify criminals.
DeleteI support Canada's choice to limit government and avoid a listing of weapons which will enable an intrusive government of the future to collect guns, as was done in Australia.
