My eldest son had this done at 25 and is fine, and I may need to have the same procedure later in the year. I am simply a baby and don't even like to get my teeth cleaned, if I'm not the one doing it ! I am now 45. My mother was diagnosed about 3 years ago with chronic a fib, and got the 'shock' a couple of times, then put on medication to slow the heart. Unfortunately, the med slowed her heart too much, so they installed a pacemaker to get it back to normal. She also uses thinners to prevent clots. I can only hope that mine never becomes an issue...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1185219031783989911.post-7578008213372757332012-12-10T14:40:22.997-08:002012-12-10T14:40:22.997-08:00Yes Marie, It's a loving thing to do to have a...Yes Marie, It's a loving thing to do to have annoying tests done in order to be here to not only raise our children but to help them through the transitions and into parenthood themselves. I try to do all the right things, but testing is always still expensive and annoying. You did a good job today, and I am glad you know that.JaneofVirginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15320442534060401465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1185219031783989911.post-55875005878797985792012-12-10T14:03:15.555-08:002012-12-10T14:03:15.555-08:00Just spent the day having a chemical stress test. ...Just spent the day having a chemical stress test. As you said in regard to Valentine's Day, this may be the best Christmas present I can give my loved ones, to follow-up on issues that seem to be getting worse. <br />And then, by the grace of God, to do something about those things, whatever it takes. That's the hard part.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
